Dr Farhad Masoomi-Aladizgeh is a Plant Biologist investigating the impacts of environmental stresses on crops. Farhad is particularly interested in plants’ reproductive tissues and how these susceptible tissues respond to changing environments. He aims to identify the precise molecular events that underlie the susceptibility of germ cells to heat and drought stresses, to develop climate-resilient crops.
